In Loving Memory of Wrigley “Wrig”
December 8, 2017 – May 10, 2026
Wrigley “Wrig,” beloved English Bulldog, passed away on May 10, 2026, at 8 years old, leaving behind a quieter home and hearts that will miss him forever. He is survived by his loving mom and his very best friend, Emily, along with his furry brother and lifelong playmate, Bruno — who was not only his best friend, but also his favorite pillow every night.
Wrig wasn’t interested in toys, but he truly loved eating snow straight from the ground, rolling happily in the grass, sunbathing whenever possible, and going for car rides. In fact, Wrig loved car rides so much that he was always trying to climb into someone’s vehicle!
He had a personality that could never be forgotten. His tongue was almost always hanging out and he loved to zig-zagged up the stairs. And perhaps most famously, Wrig had a very special bathroom routine: poop, walk five steps, dramatically roll onto his back with all four legs in the air, get up, poop again, and repeat — always five times in one trip!
More than anything, Wrig was gentle, loving, and deeply connected to the people he loved. Emily shared one of the sweetest memories of him:
“Wrig always knew when I was upset so he would always come by my feet. One time I was crying and he licked my tears away.” — Emily
He somehow always knew when he was needed most.
Though his paws no longer walk beside us, the love, laughter, and unforgettable memories he gave will stay forever. There will never be another quite like him — a snow-eating, grass-rolling, stair-zig-zagging, tear-licking bulldog whose whole heart was devoted to his family.
Run free, sweet Wrig. We hope heaven has endless sunshine, soft grass, plenty of snow to snack on, and a car ride waiting anytime you want one.
