In Loving Memory of Squeake
April 9, 2008 – June 13, 2025
With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to our beloved feline companion, Squeake—affectionately known as Squeakey and the Squeakenator—who passed away peacefully on June 13, 2025, at the remarkable age of 17.
Squeake, a beautiful short-haired rescue, came into Michael’s life in a moment of grace, just before she was to be taken to the humane society. That day marked the beginning of a 12-year journey filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.
She brought joy and warmth into every room she entered, always ready to chase a laser pointer, curl up on her rainbow blanket, or pounce on a string toy with kitten-like energy. Her avocado toy was a particular favorite, often found tucked beneath a paw as she dozed contentedly.
Squeake was a true companion—especially during quiet moments, often curling up in Michael’s lap during gaming sessions or keeping watch from her favorite window at birds passing by. Her signature chatter at the sound of a can of wet food and her spirited dash to the kitchen at the clang of her metal dish will forever echo in our hearts.
She leaves behind her devoted human, Michael, and her furry brother, Akshon, both of whom will forever hold her memory close. Squeake’s life was a testament to the joy of rescue, the comfort of companionship, and the quiet strength of a cat’s unconditional love.
Rest well, sweet Squeake. Thank you for the years of purrs, play, and love. You will be missed more than words can say.
Best Friends Forever is honored to care for Squeake and her family.
