Sasha Aho

Sasha Aho, a.k.a. Sasha Baby, SASH – SASH, Sashi, hailed from the beautiful state of Tennessee in 2008. She was adopted by Melissa from her original owners when she was about six months old. On the car ride home, we both agreed on her name changing to Sash (original owners had names her Zero).

Fond memories are many! Some of her favorite things to do were to catch frisbees, swim in the creek, long walks on the greenway, running 25 mph like a gazelle on the open range, car rides, and playing hide and seek with Melissa in the house. She also loved to inform the deer, squirrels and raccoons that they were on her turf. Blue, Rascal, and Punkin became Sasha’s siblings and she loved them all.

On April 26, Sasha went to sleep while comfortable on her bed at home.

It was the hardest thing to see you close your eyes, sweet girl, but I know you’re at peace now. God brought you into my life, dearest Sasha, of that I am sure! I loved you from the moment I saw you and I will love you for as long as I live. I will never forget you.
