Lily Selig

Lily, Lil, or Lil’er, age 11, was the beloved cat, and forever member of the Selig family. She was more than a pet; she was family to Josh, Tiffany, Olivia, and Ben. Lily filled their home with warmth, comfort, laughter, and the kind of gentle love only a truly special cat can give.

Known as the friendliest cat ever, Lily had a gift for making everyone feel welcome. She loved being petted, especially when it came with a good belly scratch, and she was happiest when she could be picked up and cradled like a baby.

Lily also knew the simple joys of life. She loved her plastic jingle ball and the cheerful sound it made as she played. She had a special way of following her person to the kitchen, knowing that a favorite treat would be given.

In Olivia’s words, “Lily was the best kitten I ever had in my life.”

Lily will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her gentle heart, her playful spirit, her love of cuddles and treats, and the happiness she brought to her family. Though the house may feel quieter without her, the love she gave will remain in every memory, every smile, and every place she made brighter simply by being there.
