Bee Bee Titus Obituary

Beloved Bee “Bee Bee”

Bee Bee crossed the rainbow bridge Sunday December 22, 2024 peacefully in the arms of her Dad and Mom.  Born February 27, 2009 in Westfield, IN and then adopted by her new parents.

She leaves behind her fur sibling Faith, Grandma Josie, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Bee Bee’s favorite activities were taking walks, playing ball, playing with her siblings and most of all being in the water.  For most of her life she lived on 10 acres with a pond so spent most of her time swimming chasing the geese and ducks or retrieving the jolly ball out of the pond.  I will never forget the first day she was with us, she dragged an entire laundry basket out of the closet and out to the family room.  She was definitely the trouble maker out of the three pups but always made us laugh.  She also loved water, snow, her balls and especially food.  She was the queen of begging.  No matter where she was in the house if she heard someone in the kitchen she was right there to see if we would share.  She could clear a room with her toots and would always look at us like “it wasn’t me”.  Bee Bee would eat anything including poop so Mom and Dad had to be quick to clean up after her siblings or Bee Bee would.  Her favorite was “poopsicles” in the winter time.

Bee Bee loved car rides, ice cream, birthday parties and just being outside exploring.  She loved chasing squirrels, birds and picking up sticks.  She loved being in water and getting as muddy as she could.  Bee Bee was the only dog who loved getting a bath so would make sure to get as dirty as she could so she had to be bathed.  Bee Bee loved attention so loved all people who would love on her, loved meeting new dog friends and made many while attending doggy daycare at Barkefellers.

More than anything else Bee Bee loved both her Mom and Dad.  Would hang out with her Dad watching sports and get excited and bark if Dad yelled “Touch Down”.  She just loved being with her people and fur siblings.  She was like Velcro so when Mom moved around the house she would follow.

Bee Bee started to show signs of arthritis in 2021 but boy did that not stop her and she continued to celebrate birthdays and still wanted to go for walks.  By 2023 she slowed down even more and by 2024 walks were just not her jam.  She preferred to just hang out and watch the birds and squirrels.  Bee Bee celebrated her 15th birthday this year and was just shy by two months of her 16th birthday.  She was one tough girl but right before Christmas told us she was tired and ready to be reunited with Stanley at the rainbow bridge.  Her legs were just giving out on her and had no interest in walking.  But even until the very end she enjoyed a cheeseburger and chocolate brownie.  She was smiling and giving us kisses.

We will think of her every time we are in the kitchen waiting for a snack.  We will think of her when celebrating birthdays, she loved parties and wearing her birthday hat.  Bee Bee gave us a lot of wonderful memories filled with laughter.  She will be forever missed and forever remembered, but left behind her fierce love, which never wavered.  Run free sweet Bee Bee and hoping you have all the food you want in heaven.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you give all your dogs some extra love in honor of our sweet Bee Bee.  If you don’t have a dog, please go out and adopt an animal in need of a loving home.
