In 2012 Steve and Sherri Belcher picked up a very special 8-week-old golden.
Bailey was born 13 1/2 years ago in Arizona on Feb 8 which meant she would always share her birthday on the 8th with Steve; thus, their exceptional relationship began!
Bailey had so much love to give. Her caring personality always made everyone she met feel special. She enjoyed cheering up people in the hospital and nursing homes. Bailey loved receiving toys and had baskets full of every toy she ever owned and never tore them apart.
She enjoyed Sherri brushing Bailey's teeth every morning, jumping in the pool, wading on the beach area of the pool and taking long walks in our hilly neighborhood of Fountain Hills, AZ.
Bailey so enjoyed our frequent road trips back and forth from Arizona to Indiana, Bailey was a much better cross-country traveler than Sherri. She enjoyed the 3 of us hopping in the car and spending days together with just her humans.
Unlike most dogs, Bailey went everywhere with Steve and Sherri and expected to go to Starbucks in Fountain Hills, AZ almost daily to see all her human friends. She was a people person!! We would run into people in AZ and they would always greet us and call Bailey by name and apologize because they could not remember Steve or Sherr! but they knew Bailey.
We will miss her wagging tail and her sitting right at our feet wanting to be included in our lives in any way she could. She gave us great joy and a very special bonding which makes it so difficult to say goodbye!
There will never be another Bailey!
Best Friends Forever is privileged to care for Bailey.
