Pepper Arpasi

Pepper Arpasi, age 13,  Newfoundland mix was adopted into the Arpasi family on August 27, 2011 around the age of 5.  The timing for his adoption was perfect in that Sadie, his adopted sister, died 10 days later from cancer.   Pepper helped ease the grief.  As an older dog, he was settled, very easy to care for and brought much joy into the home.

Immediately Pepper became a family member traveling to football and basketball games when the weather was cold, taking many hikes with his mom, trips to the farm, and even made his way into Assembly Hall when mom found herself locked out of the car.

All holiday and birthday cards were of course signed with Pepper’s name.

Pepper was always good and loyal.  He never had any ailments other than dry eye, common in Newfoundlands, and a fall-time allergy.  Pepper died on June 7, 2019, after having a couple of seizures.  Mom especially is thankful for the time God gave her with Pepper!
